About LBM Animal Abuse Awareness Fund
The LBM Animal Abuse Awareness Fund was created as a memorial to Lenox, Bentley and Matisse who were three rescued dogs. They were deliberately and maliciously killed by a vet tech (who pled guilty to SPCA criminal charges.) The animals perished by different and heinous methods (beaten, overdosed & starved). The purpose of the fund is to bring a positive meaning to their deaths by assisting more rescue and shelter animals. You can read part of the case at http://www.pet-abuse.com/database/details.php?case_id=1350.
LBMAAAF was established to bring positive meaning to Lenox, Bentley & Matisse’s deaths so that other rescue animals like them will benefit as a remembrance to their loss.
The LBM Animal Abuse Awareness Fund is a volunteer non-profit fund hosting events with the help of business sponsors and volunteers to help raise money and supplies to donate to other non-profit animal groups and organizations.
LBM Animal Abuse Awareness Fund is in existence to help increase the sensitivity to animal abuse which has increased over the last few years due to stress and the economic climate.
